A total of 07 vacancies will be filled for Assistant Sub Inspector posts under the SSB ASI Recruitment 2026 in the paramedical cadre including Radiographer, Pharmacist, Operation Theatre Technician and Dental Technician. SSB ASI Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates who wish to apply for SSB ASI Recruitment 2026 must ensure that they fulfil the required age limit and educational qualification for the Assistant Sub Inspector posts in the paramedical cadre.

• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 20 April 2026 (last date of application). Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-servicemen and other reserved categories as per Government rules.
• Nationality: The applicant must be a citizen of India.

Post Wise SSB Assistant Sub Inspector Qualification

• ASI (Radiographer): 12th pass with Science + 2 years Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology / Radiography from a recognised institute + minimum 1 year experience as Radiographer in a recognised Radiology Imaging Centre or 100 bedded hospital.
• ASI (Pharmacist): 12th pass with Science + 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution + registered as Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act, 1948 + minimum 1 year experience as Pharmacist in a 100 bedded hospital.
• ASI (Operation Theatre Technician): 12th pass from a recognised board + Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology from a recognised institute + relevant experience as OT Technician/Assistant in a recognised hospital.
• ASI (Dental Technician): 12th pass with Science + Diploma/Certificate in Dental Technician/Mechanic course from a recognised institute + experience in dental lab/department of recognised hospital as per notification.

SSB ASI Salary 2026

Candidates selected through SSB ASI Recruitment 2026 will be appointed as Assistant Sub Inspector in the paramedical cadre and will receive salary as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. All posts under SSB Assistant Sub Inspector Recruitment 2026 carry the same pay level in the pay matrix.

Along with the basic pay, SSB ASI paramedical staff are entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Ration Money, Transport Allowance, dress allowance and other admissible benefits as per SSB and Central Government rules, making the in-hand SSB ASI salary 2026 approximately in the range of ₹40,000 to ₹50,000 per month depending on posting location and allowances.

• Skill/Trade Test (if applicable): Practical test to assess professional skills for posts like Radiographer, Pharmacist, OT Technician and Dental Technician as per SSB ASI recruitment rules.
• Document Verification: Verification of original documents such as educational certificates, diplomas, experience certificates, caste certificate, age proof, identity proof and other required documents.
• Medical Examination: Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME), if required, to check fitness as per SSB medical standards for paramilitary service.
• Final Merit List: Preparation of final merit list of candidates qualified in all stages, based on marks in written/technical tests and subject to qualifying PET, PST and medical standards.

SSB ASI Application Fees 2026
