IDBI Specialist Officer Vacancy 2026-27 Details

A total of 33 Specialist Officer vacancies will be filled in IDBI Bank under the IDBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026-27 for various grades in functional domains such as Information System Audit, Risk Management – Information Security, IT & MIS and Security Officer. IDBI Specialist Officer Eligibility Criteria 2026-27

Candidates who wish to apply for IDBI Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026-27 must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria regarding age, educational qualification and post-qualification experience as on the cut-off date 01 March 2026.

IDBI Specialist Officer Age Limit 2026-27

• Deputy General Manager (Grade D): 35 to 45 years (relaxation as per Government/Bank rules).
• Assistant General Manager (Grade C): 28 to 40 years.
• Manager (Grade B): 25 to 35 years.
• Junior Assistant Manager – Security Officer (Grade O): Up to 50 years (inclusive of all relaxations).
• Upper age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, Ex‑Servicemen and other categories is applicable as per Government/Bank guidelines.

IDBI Specialist Officer Educational Qualification & Experience 2026-27

• Audit – Information System (IS) (Grade C): B.Tech/BE in IT/Electronics & Communications/Software Engineering/Electronics & Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Digital Banking or BCA/B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) or Graduate in any stream with valid CISA, or M.Sc (IT/Computer Science)/MCA/M.Tech/M.E in relevant disciplines from a recognised University, with minimum 7 years officer-level experience in BFSI/IT/Information Security consultancy, out of which 4 years in IS Audit/Cyber Security Audit/Information Security consultancy.
• Risk Management – Information Security (Grade C & B): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/ICT/Electronics & Communications/Electrical/Electronics & Electrical or BCA/B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) or MCA/M.Sc (IT/Computer Science) from a recognised University. Grade C: minimum 7 years experience (4 years in Information Security/Cyber Security); Grade B: minimum 4 years experience (2 years in Information Security/Cyber Security) in IT/BFSI/FinTech/Corporate entity in IT/Information Security/Cyber Security.
• IT & MIS (Grade D/C/B): Graduate in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Electronics & Communications/Electronics & Telecommunications/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Cloud Computing/Data Science/Data Engineering or akin disciplines, or MCA/equivalent from a recognised University, with preference for candidates with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) and relevant certifications like OCP, Data Analytics, SAS, Python, Project Management, Digital Banking, IT Security, Network etc. Grade D: minimum 10 years experience (7 years in relevant functional area) at middle management level; Grade C: minimum 7 years officer-level experience (4 years in relevant area); Grade B: minimum 4 years officer-level experience (2 years in relevant area) in BFSI/FinTech/Large IT Services organisations.
• Security Officer – Junior Assistant Manager (Grade O): XII/Diploma pass or equivalent from recognised institutes, basic computer proficiency desirable, with minimum 15 years regular service as a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) in Indian Army/Indian Navy/Indian Air Force and exemplary character at the time of retirement as recorded in discharge book.
• Only full-time experience as a permanent employee is considered; training/internship/apprenticeship/teaching/trainee/retainer or staffing agency experience will not be counted.
• IDBI Specialist Officer Selection Process 2026-27

The IDBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026-27 selection process will be based on shortlisting of applications as per eligibility criteria followed by further selection stages as decided by the Bank, and document verification

Stage 1 – Shortlisting of Applications

• Candidates must submit the online application with complete and correct details regarding age, qualification and experience.
• IDBI Bank will shortlist applications based on information declared in the online form and eligibility criteria for the respective post/grade.
• Candidature at this stage will be purely provisional and subject to verification of original documents at later stages.

Stage 2 – Further Selection Process (Exam/Interview/Group Process as decided)

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for the next stage of the selection process, which may include online test, personal interview or any other method as decided by the Bank (details to be notified separately on the official website).
• Candidates must secure the required qualifying marks and meet the Bank’s criteria to be considered for final selection.

Stage 3 – Document Verification

• Candidates provisionally shortlisted after the selection process will be called for document verification.
• They must produce original documents/certificates related to age, educational qualification, experience, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), PwBD, ex‑serviceman status and any other eligibility claimed in the online application.
• Any mismatch between the online application details and original documents or failure to produce valid documents may lead to rejection of candidature.

The final selection list for IDBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026-27 will be prepared subject to successful document verification and fulfilment of all eligibility conditions as on the cut-off date.

IDBI Specialist Officer Emoluments 2026-27

• Deputy General Manager, Grade ‘D’: 102300-2980(4)- 114220-3360(2)- 120940 (7 years) Gross emolument for metro cities will be ₹197000/- per month (approx.)
• Assistant General Manager, Grade ‘C’: 85920-2680(5)-99320-2980(2)-105280 (8 years) Gross emolument for metro cities will be ₹164000/- per month (approx.)
• Manager – Grade ‘B’: 64820-2340(1)-67160-2680 (10)-93960 (12 years) Gross emolument for metro cities will be ₹124000/- per month (approx.)
• Junior Assistant Manager– Grade ’O’: Cost to Company (CTC) basis would range between ₹6.14 lakh to ₹6.50 lakh (Class A city) at the time of joining. Annual increment shall be granted based on performance or any other parameters as decided by the Bank from time to time.

IDBI Specialist Officer Application Fee 2026-27

Candidates applying for IDBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2026-27 are required to pay the prescribed application fee/intimation charges through online mode while submitting the application form. The exact fee for each category (General/OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD) is mentioned in the fee section of the official notification.
