GPSSB Recruitment 2026 Age Limit (as on 02-05-2026) Maximum Age limit: 33 Years Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Eligibility Criteria Diploma in Electrical Engineering obtained from the Technical Examination Board or any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as deemed to be a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. Provided that the candidate holding bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering shall not be eligible to apply. Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Pay Scale Fixed Pay ₹40,800/- per month for first 5 years. After satisfactory completion of 5 years service: Pay Matrix Level-5 ₹29,200 – 92,300.

Selection Process

The competitive examination will be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) pattern through COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST (CBRT) or OPTICAL MARK RECOGNITION (OMR) method.

The detailed examination scheme, syllabus, and pattern will be decided separately by the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board and will be published on the official website of the Board.
