Eligibility Criteria
Full Time Regular 3/4 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an institute recognized by State/Central Govt. with minimum of 60% marks. OR B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc Engineering in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks. OR AMIE in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 50% marks from Institution of Engineers (India) Calcutta. Candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation or its equivalent level.
Pay Scale Minimum/Basic Pay: ₹35,400/- per month (as per 7th CPC/Pay Matrix).

Selection Process

The competitive examination will be conducted through Online Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 100 objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQ).

Questions related to the concerned course: 50
Punjabi Language Knowledge: 20
General Knowledge: 10
Reasoning: 10
General English: 10

The exam would be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration. There will be negative marking @ 0.25 (1/4th) of the marks allotted for correct answer

Minimum qualifying marks in the online test:

General Category candidates: 45%
Reserve Category candidates: 35%

In case of multiple shifts, normalization of marks will be applied. Final merit will be prepared on the basis of normalized marks.
