1. Why is
Registration required on the AFCAT portal?
Registration on the AFCAT portal
is mandatory before applying for any Indian Air Force Officer Entry
through AFCAT.
The main purposes of Registration
are:
- Creation of an official candidate account on
the AFCAT system
- Verification of identity and contact details
(email ID and mobile number through OTP)
- Generation of login credentials (User ID &
Password) for future access
- Linking all stages of the recruitment process
(application, admit card, exam result, AFSB call letter, medical status,
merit list) to one verified profile
- Ensuring secure and authenticated
communication between the candidate and the Indian Air
Force
Without registration, the portal does not recognize
the candidate, and no further action is allowed.

the AFCAT application form be filled without Registration?

information/documents are required for Registration?
At the Registration stage,
candidates are required to provide basic identification and contact details.
No certificates are uploaded at this stage.

- Date of Birth (as
per Class 10 certificate)

- Thumb impression (if applicable)
- Class 10 certificate

per eligibility)

Scanned documents such as certificates, photograph, or signature are not
uploaded during Registration.
